Principal and Senior Scientist positions at Celentyx Ltd
Celentyx Ltd is a successful pharmaceutical research and development company undertaking high-level immune focussed in vitro research using human primary cells and tissues from healthy donors and patients with defined disease.
We are currently looking for talented and highly-motivated individuals to join our in vitro biology team, which runs a wide range of cell biology and immunology assays screening and defining the molecular/cellular mechanism of action of novel immune modulating drugs using techniques such as multi colour flow cytometry, high-throughput confocal microscopy, multiplex cytokine assays, 3D-culture, RNAscope, PrimeFlow and RNAseq (as well as standard molecular and proteomic methods).
Successful applicants will be an integral part of a dynamic and flexible team that delivers a variety of high-level and often bespoke research to strict timescales. Prospective candidates should hold a PhD in immunology or have equivalent experience in either an industrial or academic setting. Experience in immunology, including high-level flow cytometry, screening and MoA studies in a drug discovery context and/or advanced molecular biology skills (e.g. RNAseq) are preferred. In addition, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently are essential. Experience of working in a commercial environment and/or project management experience would be an advantage. All Celentyx personnel have a responsibility to understand and follow the company’s quality management system, maintain accurate records and work to an exceptionally high standard.
A salary commensurate with qualifications and experience along with an attractive bonus will be offered.
